She has been an aromatherapy educator for over 30 years, opening her first aromatherapy school in the New England area in 1990. In 2018, she merged with graduate, friend, and colleague, Amy Galper, to found the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies – an online and live class aromatherapy school based in New York City. Jade currently resides in Chapel Hill, NC where she grows aromatic and medicinal plants, continues to research and write her online courses and spends time with her family and friends. “These plants are here to teach me, to walk with me on my journey. To share their beauty, their medicine, and their ‘messages’ – the aromatic molecules of communication between plants and humans.”
